Personalized Cover Tips and Technical Requirements

• Your file may be in any of the following formats: JPEG (.jpg), GIF (.gif), TIFF (.tif), BMP (.bmp), or PNG (.png).
• The photo resolution should be at least 640 x 480 pixels (file size of 122 kb) or at least 150 dpi.  Note: 72 dpi photos for web pages are not high enough quality.
• The maximum file size accepted is 2 Mb, or resolution of 2200 x 1700 pixels or 300 dpi.
• Do not upload any offensive, lewd, or nude images or copyrighted material. Your book will not be printed.
• Black and white photos are acceptable.
• Head and shoulders photo of the person(s) is best. Use a clear photo in which the face(s) are not obscured or in shadows.
• Camera resolution settings of medium or normal are ideal.  High resolution is generally too large and may exceed our 2 Mb file size limit.
• Sorry, we do not accept photos by mail.
• If your photo is in landscape format (horizontal) your picture on the back cover will be 3" wide by 2.25" tall.  If it is portrait (vertical) your picture will be 1.8" wide by 2.25" tall.
• Please be careful in selecting and uploading your photo. This is a custom product  and we cannot offer refunds!
